This seminar will provide participants with updated information about SR/PHM standards and legislation, best practices, and lessons learned in safe patient/resident handling and mobility. This seminar will focus primarily on how to develop, implement and sustain an effective SR/PHM program as well as training techniques, organizational culture and building a business case.
The primary focus for this seminar will be fixed acute or long-term care facilities. The target audience is Executive Directors, Administrators, Business Managers, Risk Managers, Directors of Nursing, Nurse Managers, Rehabilitation Therapists, Occupational or Employee Health Directors, Staff Education or associated staff responsible for staff injury prevention or safe resident/patient handling at your organization.
